Description de la formation

Le Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 30 crédits ECTS.

La formation comprend 4 modules:

  • Module 1: Multilateralism in a new international order
  • Module 2: Diplomacy in a changing world
  • Module 3: Policy-making amidst transformation
  • Module 4: Negotiations and new contexts

Objectifs

  • Gain a solid understanding of the changing diplomatic and policy spheres to become a key player on the international stage

  • Develop your contextual intelligence to analyse global issues in a new international order

  • Strengthen your intercultural persuasion skills to influence specific policy areas

  • Develop an agile, creative and forward-looking mindset to shape contingency-proof policy responses

  • Expand your professional network in international Geneva to build bridges with experts from business, civil society, academia and governments

  • Experiment with innovative tools to sharpen your negotiation and mediation skills in complex situations

Admission

Conditions d’admission

  • Academic background:  bachelor's degree minimum (no particular discipline is required), with many participants having a prior master's degree
  • Professional work experience in a relevant field of at least a few years is required (in the public, private or NGO sectors), with many candidates bringing up to 10 or more
  • Selection is primarily based on professional background, candidate's motivation and applicability for current work or future career opportunities
  • Proficiency in English (no certificate is required)

  • Professionals in the fields of governmental affairs, compliance, corporate social responsibility, environment, social and governance and sustainability

  • Policy and governance officers and head of programme

  • Diplomats and members of permanent missions
