Description de la formation

The iimt curriculum represents a carefully structured approach to advanced business education, organized around ten central subject areas:

  • Strategy & Innovation Management
  • Marketing Management
  • Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management
  • Management Accounting & Control
  • Managerial Finance
  • National and International Economics
  • Law and Business Ethics
  • Process and Excellence Management
  • Information Management and Decision Support
  • Utility Technology.

The Executive Programmes are designed as a series of modules; there are ten subject areas with three modules in each subject, each module covering a level of increasing difficulty.

Objectif

The iimt provides quality training on an internation level. Its programmes combine the most recent theroretical management concepts with practical international understanding giving insights into widely different cultures and attitudes and enabling conditons in other markets to be understood and evaluted.
The iimt's commitment is to prepare particpants for high-level management careers in an increasingly global Utility environment.
The iimt, which is part of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, offers the only executive training programmes in Europe with a specific focus on ICT/Utility Management.

Bachelor d'une haute école universitaire

Candidates for the Executive MBA or the Executive Diploma require at least 3 years professional experience in a management position in the field of ICT/Utility and to have obtained one of the following qualifications:

  • a licence or other diploma recognised Universtiy or School of Technology
  • the diploma of an University of applied sciences or other diploma recognised as equivalent.

On single payment for the full programm, payable before teaching begins:

Annual payments, payable 30 days after teaching begins:

Déroulement temporel

Début des cours

Each module is organised once each calendar year. Beginning is possible throughout the year.

Durée de la formation

12 to 36 Monate
To ensure that the participants can pursue their professional activities parallel to their studies, the programmes are organised in weekly blocks (Monday to Saturday); each block consists of two modules presenting rwo different subject areas at the same level. Half of the class time is devoted to the acquisition of new knowledge in the subject area concerned; the remaining time is allocated to pratical work and case studies in ICT/Utility Management.
This high rate of flexibility allows candidates to choose the length of time they need for the courses, according to their individual need and situation.
The Executive MBA (15 course weeks) can be completed part-time (2 or 3 years) or full-time (1 year). The Executive Diploma (10 course weeks) can be completed part-time (2 years) or fullt-time (1 year).
