Le Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 10 crédits ECTS.

The course focuses on the key topics and the fundamental economic and legal concepts of financial regulation. The big themes and trends of current financial regulation are presented with a global, European and Swiss focus.

  • Financial Markets and the Swiss financial center
  • Legal fundamentals of financial regulation
  • Economic fundamentals of financial regulation
  • Banking Regulation
  • Insurance Regulation
  • Financial Markets and Services Regulation
  • Fintech Regulation
  • Leveraging financial markets to pursue other public interests
  • Enforcing financial regulation

Objectives

  • know the substance and the background of global and Swiss financial regulation
  • work with a legal and an economic focus
  • see behind the policy concepts in financial regulation
  • understand the regulatory drivers and trends
  • meet key actors and practitioners as guest speakers and interact with them

Admission criteria

University or equivalent degree, three years in a position related to Swiss or international financial markets (e.g. financial industry, financial regulation and legislation, management, consultancy, audit, law firms).

  • Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS

Certificate of Advanced Studies in Financial Regulation, Diploma delivered jointly by Universities of Berne and Geneva.
