What the program looks like

In today's rapidly evolving regulatory environment, companies face mounting pressure to comply with a broad spectrum of legal and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions. These include trade compliance and export control regimes, financial transparency and anti-bribery standards, labor and human rights obligations, environmental directives, competition law, and cross-border tax regulations. The dynamic nature of these frameworks, shaped by geopolitical shifts and enforcement trends, creates persistent compliance risks. Failure to meet obligations may expose businesses to investigations, penalties, and reputational harm. At the same time, compliance must not obstruct operations. Companies are expected to apply a risk-based approach, choosing their compliance battles wisely to remain both responsive and resilient.

The participants may choose between core curriculum units focusing on the most important fields of compliance, such as tax, competition, labor, banking, environmental compliance, trade compliance and customs regulations, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering compliance, risk regulations and risk management.

Admission

The Certificate of Advanced Studies in Compliance is designed for practicing lawyers as well as legal compliance officers of national and multinational companies, non-governmental or international organizations.

The program is also open to university graduates with degrees in disciplines other than law with professional experience in regulatory compliance.
