Description de la formation

Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) ist eine Nachdiplomausbildung der Hochschulen und entspricht mindestens 10 ECTS-Punkten. Dieses CAS verlangt 14 ECTS-Punkte.

The program is aimed at providing participants with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in treating and researching lung cancer.

Teaching Methods:

  • Part-time basis using blended-learning modules and seminars, is divided in three attendance seminars and four e-learning modules.

Contenct:

  • Seminar 1: ELCC + CAs LC course
  • Module 1: Epidemiology, prevention, biology and pathology of lung cancer and ther thoracic malignancies
  • Module 2: Principles of lung cancer research
  • Seminar 2: selected sessions of the ESMO congress
  • Module 3: Principles of NSCLC diagnosis and treatment
  • Module 4: Principles of treatment of SCLC; MOM, thymoma and thymic cancer
  • Seminar 3: CAS LC course

Places: Three attendance seminars (attendance is limited to 25 participants)

1 ECTS-Punkt entspricht einem Aufwand von 25-30 Arbeitsstunden.

Admission

Conditions d’admission

  • Medical doctors: Master degree from an accredited college or university (or an equivalent degree) and at least two years residency training in a relevant institution
  • Natural scientists: Master degree from an accredited college or university (or an equivalent degree) and at least two years of professional experience in oncology

Zielpublikum

  • Medical doctors (oncology, radiation oncology, thoracic surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology)
  • Graduates in natural sciences, who are engaged in the field of oncology, especially in the field of thoracic malignancies

Coûts

EUR: 5'400
EUR: 3'000 (discounted fee for participants from low, lower middle and upper middle income economies as defined by The World Bank)

Included: Access to seminars, modules, materials and exams as foreseen by the Programme. Accommodation, lunches and coffee breaks during the seminars
Not included: Travel and Dinners
