Description de la formation

Le Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 30 crédits ECTS.

La formation comprend 4 modules:

  • Module 1: Fundamentals of Global Governance
  • Module 2: Analysis and Tools for Decision-Making
  • Module 3: International Negociation: Theory and Practice (part 1) 
  • Module 4: International Negociation: Theory and Practice (part 2)

Objectifs

  • Explore global governance issues
  • Analyse Public-Private partnerships and multi-stakeholders agreements
  • Master international negotiation
  • Acquire a better leadership in international affairs
  • Understand economic, political and legal aspects of decision-making

Admission

Conditions d’admission

  • Academic background:  bachelor's degree minimum (no particular discipline is required), with many participants having a prior master's degree
  • Professional work experience in a relevant field of at least a few years is required (in the public, private or NGO sectors), with many candidates bringing up to 10 or more
  • Selection is primarily based on professional background, candidate's motivation and applicability for current work or future career opportunities
  • Proficiency in English (no certificate is required)

Public cible

Working professionals in Geneva or beyond, who already hold leadership positions in governement or public affairs, or for those who aspire to higher roles in the fields of communication, human ressources, legal affairs, negotiation or management within the public, private and non-profit sectors. The INP programme also provides a complementary skills and exposure for those with financial or legal education and experience.

Part time spread over 9 months. Classes online and on the days of presential sessions are held from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
