Description de la formation
Le Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 10 crédits ECTS.
7 weeks courses
1 week thematic short course
Week 1: Humanitarian Communication: Concepts and Framework
Week 2: Participatory Approaches with Crisis-Affected Communities
Week 3: Designing an Advocacy Strategy for Humanitarian Action
Week 4: Media and Humanitarian Action: Approaches & Challenges
Week 5: Representation to Create a Relationship: Strategy and ethical concerns
Week 6: Negotiation in Humanitarian Settings: Main concepts and Strategy
Week 7: Personal thematic paper
Objectifs
At the end of the course, participants will have strengthened communication competencies and will be able to develop a proper communication, advocacy or negotiation strategy in line with their
humanitarian objectives and their environment.
Admission
Conditions d’admission
- Either a university qualification following three years of study plus at least two years of work experience in the humanitarian, social or development field.
- English mother tongue or proof of level of competence through a TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS certificate or the equivalent.
Groupe cible
CERAH Master student in humanitarian action. Professsional working in humanitarian action or in an international organization with experience in coordination or communication, wishing to review or improve his competencies in communication and advocacy. Professional in communication or journalism aiming for a career in humanitarian action who wishes to gain specific knowledge of humanitarian advocacy and communication.
