European Business Management

Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) is a postgraduate course offered by universities and corresponds to at least 10 ECTS credits. This CAS requires 12 ECTS credits.

The CAS European Business Management offers a chance of learning fundamental management knowledge in the European market. In class the students develop the necessary skills to apply current theories to real life cases and adapt business ideas to their individual situations and backgrounds.
You gain insights and competences in:

• The behavior of European governments, civil society and businesses and its decision makers in government and society
• Employee representation models and governance differences between Europe and China
• Management challenges specific to Swiss companies in China and Chinese companies in Switzerland
• Swiss family businesses, their governance and succession planning
• The financial center Switzerland and the Swiss (private) banking system
• Foreign markets selection and adaptation of products, services and business models to the peculiarities of foreign markets

• Participants must have a Master’s or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year's work experience

• Non-native English speaker are required to prove the necessary English skills by submitting their English test scores: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT with the corresponding score.
