Description de la formation
The Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) is a postgraduate course offered by universities and corresponds to at least 30 ECTS credits. This DAS requires 35 ECTS credits.
The DAS European and Asian Business Management program is designed for professionals interested in European and Asian business cultures while providing an overview of the fundamentals of international business management. The programme enables the development of necessary skills to apply current theories to real-life cases and to adapt business ideas to individual situations and backgrounds, resulting in the following insights and competences:
- The behaviour of European governments, civil society and business and its decision makers in government and society
- The importance of economic incentives and constraints for successful interaction in business
- Dealing with challenges in relation to cross-border business
- Innovation and its role in economic development
- Employee representation models and governance differences between Europe and China
- Management challenges specific to Swiss companies in China and Chinese companies in Switzerland
- Swiss family businesses, their governance and succession planning
- Key elements of a growth-oriented internationalization strategy
- Foreign markets selection and adaptation of products, services and business models to the peculiarities of foreign markets
Mandatory courses:
- All 12 ECTS credits from the CAS in European Business Management
- All 12 ECTS credits from the CAS in Chinese Business Management
- At least 4 ECTS from the Asian Business Series Module
Plan de la formation
One ECTS credit corresponds to a workload of 25-30 hours.
Admission
Conditions d’admission
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree
- a minimum of one year's work experience

Non-native English speaker are required to prove the necessary English skills by submitting their English test scores: IELTS 6.5 (no section lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 80 or equivalent.
Target Group:
- Working professionals with a Bachelor or Master’s degree who aim to specialize in intercultural management with a focus on Europe and Asia
