Le Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 60 crédits ECTS.
Program
Core courses:
- The law and ethics of transitional justice
- International law and transitional justice: mapping the terrain
- Peacebuilding, transitional justice and gender
+ 2 thematic focuses to choose, Spring thematics:
- Civil society and transitional justice
- The rule of law in practice
- Enforced and disappearances in international law
- Displacement, International law and transitional justice
- Sexuality, gender identity and international humanitarian and huab human rights law
+ a clinical work
Objectives
- Provide high-level academic education and real-world practice in the field of transitional justice, human rights and the rule of law
- Primary focus is placed on strengthening interdisciplinary knowledge and preparing students for future professional activities
Admission
Conditions d’admission
Admission criteria:
- A degree in law or an equivalent degree in a field relevant to transitional justice, such as international relations, political science, philosophy, sociology, anthropology or history
- A solid academic record
- A demonstrable interest in transitional justice, human rights and the rule of law (professional experience, internships, summer schools, conferences attended, publications, etc.)
- Candidates have to be fluent in written and spoken English (test required if not mother tongue)
Audience
Highly qualified and open-minded candidate with professional experience in a field related to the programme.
