Preparation for the Cambridge Advanced English examination. This exam corresponds to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Further development of existing English language skills in speaking, listening comprehension, writing and reading. Extension of vocabulary and knowledge of collocations.
Grammar will only be extended and not revised from scratch. Sound knowledge of FCE grammar is a prerequisite to this course.
Discussions on a wide range of topics
Analysis and application of advanced grammar
Discovery and practice of various genres of English writing
Exam tips
Additionally, there will be a focus on the Cambridge examination question formats and strategies, and inspection and practice of past examination papers
A mock exam will be held on a Saturday during the course.
