Description de la formation
Le Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 60 crédits ECTS. Le MAS European and International Governance (MEIG) équivaut à 62 crédits ECTS.
Objectives
- Provide a deep understanding of the political, economic, social and legal aspects of European and International Governance
- Acquire extended knowledge on the functioning of the United Nations, the European Union institutions and the specialised organisations based in Geneva
- Develop competencies to take over executive functions in national or international careers dealing with global issues
Plan de la formation
1 crédit ECTS correspond à environ 25-30 heures de travail.

- The European Union and its Role in International Affairs
- Key Skills for an International or a National Career dealing with Global Issues

- International Trade and Development
- Health and Environment
- Climate Change
- Agenda 2030 and the Public-Private Partnerships for its implementation
Admission
Conditions d’admission
Admission criteria:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree (completed university studies of at least three years) or a Master’s degree from a University or a University of Applied Sciences or a degree deemed equivalent
- Professional Experience
- Relevant professional experience in the field of the Programme is taken into consideration in the admission process
- Candidates have to be fluent in written and spoken English
Audience
Graduate and professional with various backgrounds working or wishing to work in national and European administrations, international and non-governmental organisations, associations and foundations dealing with international affairs, including diplomatic or civil servant of ministries such as Foreign Affairs, Trade, Economy, Finance, Agriculture, Justice and Home affairs.
